Bobby Krishna
Bobby is driven by a passion for safeguarding public health. Since joining Dubai Municipality (Food Safety Authorities) in 2005, Bobby’s contributions have been instrumental in shaping Dubai's food safety landscape.
Bobby champions the use of data-driven decision making in public health systems, ensuring informed and effective interventions. Among many things he spearheaded the Foodwatch project, a cutting-edge digital platform revolutionizing food safety management.
Bobby pursued a Master's in Food Science and Technology from the University of New South Wales. He is a member of the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF) and the International Association for Food Protection sharing his expertise with a global audience.
Bobby's dedication has garnered him prestigious awards. He received the NSF International Food Safety Leadership Award (Trendsetter, 2013), the President's Award from the International Association for Food Protection (2012), and the Food Chain Leadership Award (2020).
